ords once spoken……”

“Arrow once shot….”

Complete the above sentences. Correct – Do not return- is the right later part. However, this analogy is more than just referring to the words or the arrow. It is about TIME. It all points towards one universal fact: Time does not reverse.

Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time. - Jim Rohn

If there is one attribute by which we are equally wealthy, it is time. We all go through same 24 hours, each day. What we make of that time, is our choice. One can choose to crib, complain, regret, and mourn OR get up, appreciate, learn, and rejoice.

If time was a commodity, it would be an invaluable one. We can use the time on hand to earn money, but the reverse is not true. Time cannot be saved in a bank, cannot be multiplied, and cannot be replenished once used.

What can be saved is the experience gained during the time spent. This experience, and the learning derived from it, shapes us as a human being.

Sands of time: tighter you hold on, faster it slips.

So when time is so important, why waste it? Rather than using the time on hand on mundane task, spend it on worthwhile experiences. Work hard, follow your passion, exercise, be available for your dear ones – for these are the things that matter.

Wise say: Don’t overvalue money; don’t undervalue time.

At an old age, one often wishes to go back in time to: correct something, to do something differently, to experience it one for time. Alas, it is not to happen. The time is now, and the need to act is now.

Now, what are you going to do with your time?

There is only one fact that can be best and worst: Time never stops running. It cannot be reversed. So make most of the time on hand!
